The Barn at Frost Moon Mountain

Nestled in the sleepy Equinox Valley where the cloud’s kiss lingers on the mountains, our exquisitely restored 250-year-old farm rests along Vermont’s famed Battenkill River. Frost Moon Mountain is located in Manchester Center just a few hours North of New York City and Northwest of Boston. Once a working farm, the remnants of our agricultural history provide an air of nostalgia so prominent it’s palpable. Though the horse’s stalls are gone, we’ve preserved Frost Moon Mountain’s heritage by retaining much of its original charm while updating amenities to today’s contemporary standards of comfort and luxury. Our peaceful mountain escape combines bohemian sensibility with rustic radiance - the perfect backdrop for any event or gathering.

Our restored timber frame barn, the premiere sanctuary for gathering, features most of its original post and beam components. Antique light fixtures bathe the perfectly patinated, authentic barn wood that encases the entirety of the space; creating an intimate atmosphere, despite the barn’s size of 1,800 square feet. Our large, open-concept space is complete with:

  • Air conditioning.

  • Bar, (BYO permitted; licensed server required).

  • Gender-neutral interior restrooms.

  • Catering prep-area.

  • Catering prep-kitchen, (includes commercial grade refrigeration, warming ovens and dish-sinks).

  • On-site parking for 50 vehicles, (includes two electrical vehicle charge ports).

  • Wifi.

  • 1,600 sqf. blue stone patio, (which can accommodate a tent).

  • Private, rear access for vendor load in/out.

  • Enclosed trash/dumpster and trash removal.

  • Frost Moon Mountain is fully ADA compliant.

There several additional areas that can be used for gatherings depending on event type and preference; have your guests hike up to the top of our mountain for your wedding ceremony overlooking the valley, stage a dinner in the meadow, practice yoga under the majestic Chestnut tree, grab a good seat on the cocktail patio for sunset, (it has the best views), take a walk around our 25-acre property, there are a lot of cleared paths, or snuggle in and enjoy s’mores around a giant bonfire. Whether you’re hosting, or attending, Frost Moon Mountain has something for everyone.
